Mar 11 (Thurs) - We get some 4 - 5 foot SE wind slop with very brisk S to SE winds Thurs PM and Friday, but just about flat for the weekend with brisk off-shore winds and no appreciable swell. Early data hints and a nice swell showing up next Wed. Don't wax the boards just yet, but keep an eye on Wed/Thurs. Also, the coming warm weather should work wonders on that painfully cold water we have had all winter. There's a big contest at the Sebastian Inlet this weekend, but it may be a real hunt for something to ride during each heat.
CONGRATULATIONS TO NIKKI VIESINS! - Nikki took two girls titles home Sunday at the Hurley Surfing America Prime Amateur contest: under 18 and under 16.
