This page is dedicated to Rebecca Austin. Rebecca now resides in Jacksonville and is studying Business Marketing at the University of North Florida (UNF). She is also an active member of the UNF Surf Team. Rebecca's photos have been showing up in CFLsurf.com slide shows for several years. A full time model in Florida, she still devotes her weekends to surfing when work allows. She can usually be seen at all the local contests and charitable events from Jax to Jupiter. Although she has been competing in the shortboard division for the past 4 years, she recently began competing on longboards. She says that switching it up is all part of learning different tricks. We are watching for Rebecca to start collecting longboard trophies real soon! Rebecca began surfing at age 11, and now at 21 is still competing in local area contests. Rebecca currently surfs a 5'11” Quiet Flight Sting Fish and a 9'6” Quiet Flight GTO Performance Series. She is currently sponsored by RuSik Clothing out of California and says she would like to have more sponsors that care about the environment and support the sport for women surfers and would greatly appreciate a board sponsor.
